“One of my favorite things that I learned in Scientology toward the very beginning, which really helped me expand, is from The Problems of Work about the stable datum,” says Sarah. “So, when you have all these things coming at you—you’ve got instant messages, you’ve got phone calls, you’ve got stuff flashing on your screen—I would reach for that stable datum and that was the thing that I could focus on. So, that one particular datum really helped me a lot.”
