“Being a cinematographer is a very technical position and there’s a lot to know. One of the early things I did in Scientology was learn about Study Technology, and Study Technology teaches you to take a subject, any subject, learn it and be able to apply it,” says Rob. “So when that comes to cinematography, being able to study a subject and be able to apply it with full confidence makes it really easy on set.”
