Elite runner Patrick Vaughan pursues the record for completing a 292-mile-long mountain trail.
American ultra runner Patrick Vaughan sets out to record the fastest time for traversing the rugged 292-mile Lebanon Mountain Trail. In his pursuit, Vaughan is guided and motivated towards his goal by then record-holder Avedis Kalpaklian, an elite athlete and trail runner.
Handheld and drone cinematography showcase the scenic beauty of Lebanon’s mountains, while the film’s focus alternates between the race to the finish and a race to break free from Vaughan’s haunting past.
