    Marcus Miller

    Two-time Grammy winner Marcus Miller was born in Brooklyn, New York, and is an acclaimed bassist, composer and producer. With his distinctive style—a combination of funk, groove and soul—coupled with his extraordinary technical skills, Miller has been dubbed one of the most influential artists of our time. Bass Player magazine includes him on its list of the 10 most influential jazz players of this generation, and in 2013 he was appointed a UNESCO Artist for Peace. His characteristic sound can be heard on a long list of musical hits. These range from Bill Withers’s “Just the Two of Us” to Luther Vandross’s “Never Too Much” to songs from Elton John, Herbie Hancock, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, George Benson, Chaka Khan and Bryan Ferry—to name a few.

    Four-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist Stanley Clarke is widely regarded as one of the most celebrated acoustic and electric bass players in the world.
    Armand Sabal-Lecco
    Bassist and composer Armand Sabal-Lecco was born in Ebolowa, Cameroon, and was among the pioneering African musicians who helped redefine the sound of the world music genre in the 1980s. A specialist in creating musical bridges between cultures, he has worked with an impressive list of artists.

    Grammy Award-winning pianist Ruslan Sirota has performed and recorded with major artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, Chick Corea, Seal, Josh Groban, Ne-Yo, Thundercat, George Duke, Marcus Miller, Al Jarreau, Victor Wooten, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and countless others.
    Salar Nader
    Salar Nader is one of the most sought-after young percussionists of his generation. He is also an accomplished composer, producer and educator. In 2022, he made his Broadway debut in The Kite Runner as the onstage percussionist and music arranger.

    Noted for his versatile and remarkable musicianship, Colin Cook brings a fresh and exhilarating approach to jazz. He has become a sought-after studio artist, and has performed his searing guitar style in a number of bands.
    Emilio Modeste
    Tenor saxophonist Emilio Modeste is a gifted young musician from Williamsburg, Virginia. With his lyrical style, he is one of the greatest young jazz sax soloists in the country today.
    Jahari Stampley
    Jahari Stampley is a Chicago-born pianist who began playing the piano at the age of 14. He recently released his debut album entitled Still Listening, which rose to #1 on Apple iTunes.
    Jeremiah Collier
    Drummer Jeremiah Collier, a Chicago native, began playing drums at the age of two. Skilled in a wide variety of musical genres, Jeremiah has been performing with Stanley Clarke for several years.
